Dear Parents / Carers,
I am astonished that it is the end of term and we are only a couple of days away from the Christmas holidays. What an amazing start to the school year it has been.
The children have been working hard since September and have engaged in all sorts of activities to promote and develop a love of learning, independence, fun and engagement. It is wonderful to lead a school with such hard-working children who demonstrate a high standard of behaviour and are loving and caring towards one another.
A big thank you goes to each and every staff member who dedicate themselves to this profession. The school community would not function properly if it was not for the hard work and effort they each give every day to provide the best possible opportunities for our children on their education journey.
I would also like to thank you, the parents and families who support and give so much to the school community. With you, we are the educators of your children and a strong partnership is always essential to build communication, enjoyment and productive environment. Your dedication to the children and school is recognised and thanked by us all.
Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes go with Miss England as she leaves us. We all wish you the very best as you begin your new venture in teaching. Your new school’s gain is very much our loss.
Finally, I want to personally wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year. I hope it is a time where you and your families can rest, recharge and enjoy all the celebrations that this festive season brings. I hope it is a truly magical time for you all.
We look forward to seeing you back in school on Wednesday 4th January 2017.
Ms. L. Tight
